It’s pretty easy to ruin your career in Hollywood now days. In the not so distant past, depending on how big of a star you were, one could get away with just about any indiscretion. Have a total meltdown in public, shave your head and take an umbrella to the paparazzi, no problem. Go to rehab and reset. Smack your significant other around, no problem, just say you are sorry, blame it on the alcohol, make a donation to a women’s rights organization and you can reenter the fray. Wrap your sports car around a tree, injure someone in the process, but say you were on pain killers, do a few hours of community service and in a few years they might just give you a life time achievement award. All of these examples really happened and the artist or actor is still working today. The truth is that it is pretty hard to ruin your career the traditional way but there is a new way that’s relatively easy, and you might not know it until it’s too late. All one has to do now is give his or her opinion on personal practice and you are toast. Ask Mario Lopez about this. You know Mario, AC Slater from Saved By The Bell. Lopez, a father of three, shared his opinions during a June interview on The Candace Owens Show, a little known conservative talk show. During the show he stated that he believes that parents who allow their children to live according to their self-identified genders are setting a “dangerous” example. He made it clear that, as a father, this was his opinion. It took a while but the gay community got wind of his comments and has now started a campaign to remove him from television. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/mario-lopez-candace-owens-parents-transgender-kids-dangerous-200050915.html
It gets worse for those who have not accepted the queer lifestyle. In California a resolution recently passed the state assembly that blames religious people for the upswing in suicides in the gay community. A portion of the resolution reads:
The stigma associated with being LGBT often created by groups in society, including therapists and religious groups, has caused disproportionately high rates of suicide, attempted suicide, depression, rejection, and isolation amongst LGBT and questioning individuals… https://thefederalist.com/2019/06/27/ca-legislators-blame-religious-people-high-lgbt-suicide-rates/ That’s right; if you disagree with the LGBT lifestyle then you have contributed to the rise of suicide. The good news is that it is not a law to disagree, however it will be soon.
Still another, the Disney Channel aired its final episode of the kids’ show Andi Mack Monday night. The show has been controversial from the beginning. I used to watch it with my kids until we just couldn’t anymore. There was an obvious social agenda from the beginning and Disney didn’t miss an opportunity to indoctrinate as they introduced the first gay teen couple at the end of the show. Why did Andi Mack end? The kids grew up, the story ran its course? Nope, no one was watching. Most people don’t want to see that nor do they want the agenda forced upon them. https://www.out.com/television/2019/7/30/disney-channels-first-gay-teen-couple-andi-mack
But companies like Disney do not take no for an answer. Over the past few years they have systemically bought up the rights to Star Wars and Marvel. Now they control the story line of the most popular kids and adult big screen characters. They use the money from one to fuel the social agenda of the other, slowly slipping in the LGTBQ agenda, piece by piece until this generation accepts it as normal and eliminating those who disagree along the way. Just a few months ago, Captain America, Chris Evans, refused to play NFL great Tom Brady in a planned movie because Brady has been connected with Donald Trump in the past. https://people.com/sports/chris-evans-wont-play-tom-brady-because-of-donald-trump/ It’s okay to have an opinion in Hollywood as long as it is their opinion.
Christians must make a choice. We can conform to their godless lifestyle and methods by continuing to overlook their aggressive tactics or we can resist and retain our personal beliefs. It begins at home. The fight is for your children so you must know what they are watching and who they are being influenced by. Music, television, and the big screen are no longer safe for your children to enjoy alone. Parents must take an active role in every aspect of life. Hollywood is coming for them and they will gladly go through you, if you let them. If they will destroy their own so quickly for simply having a differing opinion, imagine what they have planned for you and your family.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
